Where do I download Bamboo Paper for Desktop?

You will find Bamboo Paper for desktop as a default and pre-installed application within Bamboo Dock.

How many notebooks do I get in Bamboo Paper? And how can I add more?

You are able to have an overview of your pages by clicking the dot just above the page number. Currently we don′t support deleting or re-arranging these pages for deskop. The iPad version does support these functions.

How many notebooks do I get in Bamboo Paper? And how can I add more?

As part of a future release, we are working on extending the library so you can add more than 20 notebooks.

Do you plan any additional features for Bamboo Paper?

Yes, we will continue to add new features and provide these through updates. Stay tuned by following us on Facebook and Twitter where we will announce new features etc.

How do I exchange or share my notes made on my iPad with Bamboo Paper for desktop, or vice versa?

You are able to save your notebook(s) as a BambooPaper-file. The BambooPaper-file can then be imported into Bamboo Paper on your iPad, or desktop.

How can I save my notes?

Every stroke is automatically saved. If you close the Bamboo Paper app, all your notes will still be there when you open it again. To back up any notes, simply export individual pages or the whole notebook in one of the following formats: PNG (single page), PDF (entire notebook) or BambooPaper (entire notebook)

What is the file size of a page or book when I export it from the app? (I don′t want my e-mails to contain large files)

A single page is approximately 500 KB. The book, with up to 100 pages, could go to several MB.

Will Bamboo Paper only work when it′s used together with a Bamboo tablet?

We recommend using Bamboo Paper with a Bamboo tablet for the best experience, however Bamboo Paper will also work with other pen tablets.

Why can′t I use the pen of Bamboo tablets on the iPad?

The technology used to sense your finger or stylus on an iPad is different from Bamboo tablets.

Do you plan to make Bamboo Paper available for Android devices or the iPhone?

Yes, we plan to launch a version for Android-based tablets soon. We are considering an iPhone version, too. Bamboo Paper is already available for the iPad.
