Cintiq 24HD Pen Display Benefits

The ergonomically designed counter-weighted stand allows users to adjust the incline and height of the Cintiq 24HD for multiple working postures.

Benefits

Comfort

  • The Cintiq 24HD features an ergonomically designed stand that allows you to quickly adjust the incline or height of the display for your favorite working positions. The counter-weighted stand even allows the display to extend over the edge of the desk, placing the display close to your body for maximum comfort.
  • The frame that surrounds the display provides a resting place for forearms and hands, allowing you to relax and work in a traditional way.
  • The new Cintiq 24HD display attaches to a stand arm that reclines from 77° to 2°, while the display itself inclines an additional 163° to assure that you will find your own favorite working positions. The convenient handles and assisted lift provide effortless adjustment.
  • The Cintiq Grip Pen has a comfortable, contoured barrel that provides a natural alternative to using a mouse for creative work.
  • The Cintiq 24HD has a completely flat display surface from edge-to-edge, allowing your pen hand to glide over the entire surface without obstruction. You can even place guides and drawing tools made of plastic such as French curves, protractors, rulers and templates directly on the Cintiq 21UX surface.

Productivity

  • Many Cintiq customers state that working directly on screen boosts productivity by 100% or more.
  • Cintiq 24HD is highly intuitive to use and easy to assimilate into your workflow.
  • The Cintiq 24HD gives you control and precision over your work, helping you speed up production within your digital workflow.
  • Use both hands at the same time for greater speed and efficiency by combining pen input with ExpressKeys™ and Touch Strips.
  • Compatible with both Mac and PC platforms, the Cintiq 24HD gives you ultimate control over your configuration. The Cintiq 24HD works seamlessly with your existing mouse, another Cintiq or a Wacom Intuos pen tablet, and it can be installed as a single monitor or as part of a multi-monitor combination.
  • The Cintiq 24HD has a durable, textured glass surface and the LCD itself has been structured to eliminate any screen distortion when the pen tip is pressed against the surface.

Performance

  • Features a premium 24.1” high definition LCD display with WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution.
  • Offers a wide gamut color at 92% Adobe RGB.
  • Includes patented professional pen technology with 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity and a resolution of 5080 lines per inch. Cintiq employs standard connection options to work with all primary platforms. The Cintiq 24HD uses USB for pen input and DisplayPort, DVI or VGA (adapter included) for video.
  • Tablet driver software allows you to create universal settings for either the ExpressKey™ or Touch Ring settings, giving you the ability to customize these settings per application for maximum productivity. You can even personalize the pen performance with custom settings for the side switches.

Control

  • With a 24.1" TFT display area, you have more room to use the pen directly on screen. This allows you to take advantage of natural hand-eye coordination and provide you with the feel of natural media, while giving you all the benefits of a completely digital workflow.
  • With Wacom's most advanced pen technology featuring 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity and 40° of tilt recognition, the Cintiq 24HD allows you to control your pressure-sensitive software tools by changing how hard you press the pen tip on the screen.
  • The Cintiq 24HD includes pen nibs (tips) that are made from a variety of materials. In addition to the Standard nib, the Stroke nib includes a dual-action spring to simulate a natural brush-like feel, and the Felt nib replicates the sensation of using a felt-tip marker by creating just the right amount of surface friction.
  • Ten programmable ExpressKeys™ provide quick access to modifier keys, keyboard shortcuts and pop-up menus.
  • Two finger-sensitive Touch Rings provide natural ways to control up to three different functions per application such as zooming, brush size and canvas rotation (within supporting applications).
