Daniele Danko Angelozzi
When we asked Danko for a self-portrait, he accepted the challenge immediately. He sent his first concept and artwork a couple of hours later. Maybe some 3D artists never sleep?
Danko lives and works in the paradise of the Italian countryside. He is a freelance 3D artist specializing in modeling, digital sculpting and texture painting, but it’s safe to say that he also has a pretty good general knowledge of art.
Danko is not only incredibly fast in his work, but also very friendly, cooperative and courteous in his emails. He is just as mad about the details of his work as he is pioneering about the overall concepts. Or have you ever seen a self-portrait of a 3D artist as a neo-classicist-style bionic sculpture shaping himself with the help of his inspiring monster mentor? Have you ever watched someone demonstrate the link between state-of-the-art 3D creativity and the classic marble sculptures we all admire in the museums? Well, you have now.
When he’s not accepting assignments from us, Danko works on various projects including video games, feature films, rapid prototyping and modeling for prints.
