Artrage® 3 Studio

ArtRage® 3 Studio

ArtRage is a stylish, intuitive painting and drawing package. ArtRage makes it easy to produce great-looking artwork on your computer using the natural pen-on-paper feel of your Wacom digital pen.

Jump right into the creative process without having to learn complex controls.

By providing a set of painting and drawing tools that simulate familiar, real-world tools, ArtRage lets you try out a wide range of artistic styles in one easy-to-use application. With your Wacom pen tablet, you can work with oil and watercolor brushes, a palette knife, an airbrush, a pencil, an ink pen, a felt pen, stencils, a tracing tool and a paint roller, plus a text tool that lets you add and manipulate text. You can work on a variety of paper and canvas surfaces, import and export Photoshop PSD files, and use layers, blend modes, and other digital tools. ArtRage 3 Studio, a $29.99 retail value, is included in your purchase of Wacom’s Bamboo Splash.

ArtRage also includes tools to express your playful side: Crayons, a glitter tube, a sticker spray that lets you spray or stick a large collection of shapes, colors, and effects onto a painting, and a “gloop” pen that creates expanding blobs of paint or ink.

If you’re just getting into art, you can use ArtRage to hone your skills without having to worry about wasting paint, canvas, or paper. If you’re already experienced with traditional tools and materials, you’ll find you can use many of your familiar techniques and not get bogged down in new tools and methods. You can lay down blobs of color and blend them with a palette knife, or choose other settings that reflect how you work with real pigment. If you’re already a digital artist, an upgrade to ArtRage Studio Pro will help you edit your work in more depth, add natural paint to your image, and help make your workflow easier.
