Electronic Signature

Wacom's electronic signature solutions are designed to capture an electronic signature, which can be used in lieu of traditional paper signature. They help lower costs and eliminate the inefficiencies associated with paper documentation, like ease-of-sharing and storage.

Wacom's patented pen technology provides a high resolution signature capture that can store detailed information with the signature itself. In addition to the physical X-Y position of the pen, Wacom's signature tablets register the pressure of the pen during the signature process. This data (X-Y position and pressure), along with pen speed, can then be used to generate individual biometric profiles for each signatory.

Users new to using a tablet find the pen and tablet intuitive for eSignature. The smooth, comfortable signing surface replicates the feel of pen-on-paper, and the tablet's ergonomic design provides a natural signing experience that helps contribute to the rapidly-growing acceptance of the electronic documentation process.

Consider an eSignature solution for:

  • Completing an application
  • Finalizing a transaction
  • Acknowledging receipt of information
  • Agreeing to contract terms
  • Confirming change requests
