Wacom® Builds Digital Scrapbooking Community At PenScrappers.com

Summer-theme contest highlights 12 renowned digital scrapbookers and provides scrappers everywhere a chance to win cool prizes and share their creativity

Vancouver, WA - Sept. 11, 2008 - Wacom announces today the creation of www.PenScrappers.com, a new contest site dedicated to the interests of the digital scrapbooking community. With an initial summer-theme scrapbooking contest anchoring the site's official launch, the site's true success will be found in its ability to offer digital scrapbookers a place to learn from nationally recognized scrappers, share their own creations and comment on the fun work of others. To help launch the site and give contestants a view into their own creative processes, 12 renowned digital scrapbookers have posted their work to help get the creative juices flowing.

"Digital scrapbooking is gaining so much traction that we wanted to celebrate the evolution with this exciting contest site," said Dennis Hoff, Senior Product Manager for Wacom's consumer products. "With our 12 featured scrapbookers providing creative impetus, our goal is to have the site concentrate on the artistic work being submitted and learn a little about digital scrapbooking along the way."

The Contest
Digital or hybrid scrapbookers visiting www.PenScrappers.com can upload their summer-theme layouts and enter to be the scrapbooking champion. The top ten entrants will receive a Bamboo Fun pen tablet from Wacom. The grand-prize winner will take home a Bamboo Fun pen tablet, digital camera and printer. Voting takes place online by community members visiting the site and picking their favorite scrapbooking work of art.
