Step 1:
Kidkoum, or K.V., starts with a pencil sketch he scans and pulls into Photoshop. (You can sketch in Painter-- but sometimes you just want the feel of pencil on paper). We're changing the hue of K.V.'s initial sketch by fill it with a brown color, mode set to "Hue."
