VISTA - Tablet Input Panel
Access Pen Controls Easily With Tip

Vista's Tablet Input Panel (TIP) allows you to handwrite text with your pen and convert it to text.

By default, it runs automatically but is out of your way until you need it. It is docked in a minimized state on the left or right side of your desktop, partially hidden so that only an edge is showing and easily accessible whenever you want to input text manually.

The TIP can be opened by clicking on the icon on your desktop or by clicking on the small icon that appears whenever your cursor is in a text input field.

Accessing TIP Preferences

You can also easily change and configure your TIP preferences.

Select TABLET INPUT PANEL > TOOLS > OPTIONS on the TIP toolbar. Choose how to bring up the TIP by tapping or pointing to the INPUT PANEL and selecting where and how the TIP should appear.
