Wacom’s Pen Technology Powers the S Pen for Galaxy Note9

September 7, 2018 (Tokyo, Japan) -- As Samsung’s flagship smartphone Galaxy Note series continues to evolve, so does Wacom’s digital pen technology powering the device. The Samsung Galaxy Note9, which launched on August 9, adopts Wacom’s pen technology, demonstrating the long-standing partnership between the two companies.

Wacom’s pen technology has consistently supported the S Pen’s writing and drawing performance, as well as functions to help users to navigate the device and communicate with friends and family members. The Galaxy Note9’s new S Pen also acts as the ultimate remote control to take selfies and group pictures, present slides, as well as operate music and video pause and playback, with just one click. To make this possible, the new S Pen supports Bluetooth Low-Energy, with a battery life of up to 30 minutes on a single charge of less than one minute.

Not only that, reinforcing S Pen’s role as a stylish and effective interface with various interactive functions is also important, in order to get the most out of the Galaxy Note 9’s many intelligent features.”

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 boasts an all-day performance, intelligent camera functions supported by AI, a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display, and other features. The S Pen plays a key role in letting users fully exploit the smartphone’s potential.

The Galaxy Note9 launched in the select markets on August 24, 2018.
