March 1, 2022 (Tokyo, Japan) – Wacom Co, Ltd., announced that its digital pen technology has been adopted by Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy S22 Ultra, the premium flagship smartphone, as well as the versatile tablets Galaxy Tab S8, S8+ and S8 Ultra.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra is the first Galaxy S series phones with a built-in S Pen, bringing the beloved functionalities of the Galaxy Note and S series together. Simply eject the S Pen from the bottom of the smartphone to take notes, sketch, turn handwriting into text, or edit content with precision. Thanks to the improved prediction algorithm, it’s the fastest, most responsive S Pen ever. With 70% lower latency, the S Pen on the Galaxy S22 Ultra is much faster than that of S21 Ultra(*1) , and you can write or draw incredibly smoothly.

Starting on February 25, 2022, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be available in 4 different colors: Phantom Black, Phantom White, Green and Burgundy.
The Galaxy Tab S8 series will officially launch on February 25 starting with select markets including the U.S., Europe and Korea.
