Founded Preferred Networks, Inc. (PFN) in 2014 with the goal to develop real-world applications of deep learning in transportation, manufacturing, life sciences, entertainment and other industries. Founded PFN's predecessor in 2006. Obtained a master’s degree from University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Information Science and Technology in 2007.
