Brooke A. Allen is a cartoonist from Wilmington, North Carolina. She is known best for illustrating the Boom! Studios graphic novel series, "Lumberjanes". She is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design and currently hones her craft in Richmond, Virginia with her dog, Linus.
A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, Brooke began work as a professional comic book artist in 2010 with the NBM graphic novel "A Home for Mr. Easter", and has since illustrated comic book covers and stories for the Fulcrum Press anthology "District Comics" and IDW Publishing titles such as "Powerpuff Girls: Super Smash Up!". Brooke is the character designer and artist of Boom! Studios' critically-acclaimed "Lumberjanes" comic book series, which launched in 2014. For fun, Brooke creates GIF animations from pop culture references and posts them on her Tumblr page. In addition to illustration, Brooke also casts and paints limited edition resin figures.
