Winner of the Antaku Award of the Tokyo National University of the Arts. Winner of the 1st prize in the 60th All Japan Music Competition, the Masuzawa Prize, the Special Performance Award, Winner of the 1st prize in the 4th Japan Chamber Music Competition and of the Tokyo Governor Prize. Winner of the 1st prize in the 1st Japan Biva Hall Cello Competition. Member and solo cellist of Kioi Sinfonietta Tokyo, Across String Orchestra, String Quartet Platinum, Baroque 21 and Ensemble Rococo. Lecturer at Tokyo National University of the Arts, Toho Gakuen School of Music and Toho Gakuen College of Music and Drama (part-time). Solo cellist of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. Consultant to the Japan Cello Society.
