You can use the Wacom Inkspace app to connect to your paper enabled device, such as a Bamboo Smartpad or your Intuos Pro Paper edition. You will be able to directly transfer your notes and sketches, from your device, to the Inkspace app as digital ink. The app will hold digital editable copies of your notes and drawings made on paper. You can sign up for Inkspace Plus to unlock additional features. Connect to Inkspace Web (https://inkspace.wacom.com), and take your work to the cloud. Edit and share your work digitally online, anywhere.
Inkspace comes as an app, as a service and offers a web portal. You can use the app to connect to your paper enabled device, such as a Bamboo Smartpad. It will hold digital editable copies of your notes and drawings made on paper. The app also gives you numerous features to refine your work. If you have the Inkspace Plus service activated, additional features will be unlocked and your content will be synchronized across all your device using Inkspace and the Inkspace Web portal.
If you don´t have a device at hand, just go to the Inkspace web portal, inkspace.wacom.com and sign in with your Wacom ID. You will have instant access to all your notes and drawings.
Inkspace works with the entire Bamboo Smartpad line up and Intuos Pro Paper edition. Bamboo Paper users are able to sync their notebooks across all devices with Inkspace Plus activated. Other Plus features are not yet compatible with Bamboo Paper. We are always adding more features, so check back often and discover more to do with your content.
Mac OS and Windows 10 support for the Bamboo Smartpad will be available soon.
Currently exporting your work directly to PSD is only possible with the Windows 10 and Mac OS app.
Yes, the Bamboo Solo and Duo can be used with the Wacom Inkspace app. Bamboo Styluses that require a connection, like Bluetooth, will not yet work with the Wacom Inkspace app.
The Wacom Inkspace app is for free and can be downloaded from the iOS App Store or the Google Play Store. For Intuos Pro users, the Wacom Inkspace app is also available for Mac OS and Windows 10. Full Desktop support for smartpads will be coming soon. You can unlock more features if you activate the free Inkspace Plus with your Wacom ID.
Once you have installed the Wacom Inkspace app you will be able to unlock more features by activating Inkspace Plus for free with your Wacom ID. Just create or sign in with your Wacom ID in the Wacom Inkspace app. Among other features Inkspace Plus gives you more options to export your digital ink files directly as PSD or SVG format for further editing in your favourite software. Inkspace Basic no longer exists. All Basic features were merged into the Inkspace Plus plan. All former Basic features and new features are now all available in the new Inkspace Plus plan, for free. If you already have an Inkspace Basic or Inkspace Plus subscription, you don´t have to do anything. Just go to the Wacom Inkspace app, sign in with your Wacom ID, and you´re good to go.
You can directly edit the digital copies of your paper notes in the app. Add or edit strokes by using the pen tool and the eraser in Inkspace app. If you export your page to Bamboo Paper you will be able to add color and use other types of pens.
The Wacom Inkspace app creates WILL (Wacom Ink Language Layer) files which can be exported as JPG, PNG, PDF or WILL files. If you upgrade to Inkspace Plus, you will have additional export formats supported such as PSD, SVG and DOC.
